Kleinfelder|Simon Wong Engineering is requesting a Statement of Qualifications from qualified SLBE/ELBE subconsultants for the City of San Diego As-needed Engineering 2015-2017 (contract number H146292) project. Subcontracting opportunities include construction management, water and wastewater treatment process, water and wastewater pilot study design implementation, in addition to soil and geotechnical, traffic, survey, civil, electrical, mechanical, instrumentation and controls, and water/wastewater/recycled water engineering services.
 
Qualified firms are encouraged to participate in this project by submitting a letter of interest, which should indicate which service(s) your firm provides, and one qualifications package including resumes, related project experience, and certification documentation. Simon Wong Engineering (SWE) is requesting Statement of Qualifications from qualified SCOOP certified subconsultants for the San Diego County Water Authority's (SDCWA) Construction Management As-needed Support Services contract. Subcontracting opportunities include Geotechnical Engineering, Materials Testing, Document Controls, Office Engineering, Construction Management and Inspection, Special Inspection, and Non-Destructive Testing including Phase Array Ultrasonic Technology Testing.

Qualified firms are encouraged to participate in this project by submitting a letter of interest indicating which of the above listed services your firm would provide, firm and staff qualifications, rate schedule, and a copy of your business certifications in accordance with the SDCWA SCOOP Program. Race for the Cure Minimize
Breast cancer has been no stranger to members of the KLF|SWE family. We have fought alongside some very brave women during their battles with breast cancer, and sadly suffered the loss of a coworker and friend whom we cared for deeply to the same disease. It is in honor and memory of these women that we will walk and/or run this 5k on Sunday, November 3, 2013.

At KLF|SWE we believe in community. We believe in helping others. We believe that together, we can make a difference in the life of a mother, sister, daughter, and friend!

For the past five years, our race team, the Wong Walkers, has been very special to our company, and KLF|SWE happily invites each one of you to join us in the RACE FOR THE CURE! Members of SWE's Bridge Division ROCK Triathalon Minimize

Last Sunday team members from SWE’s Bridge Division, Elizabeth Schroth-Nichols, Karibia Encinas, and Mary Anne Nekuda, competed in the SheROX Triathlon. The SheROX Triathlon is a women’s only event that raises money for ovarian cancer. The relay sprint distance included ½ mile swim (Elizabeth), 20k bike (Karibia), and 5k run (Mary Anne). These amazing ladies came in 7th place out of the relay team category with a finish time of 1:22:55. Congratulations on your outstanding finish!

Eastern Maintenance Facility Expansion Project – Groundbreaking Ceremony Minimize

SWE’s public relations team recently assisted the San Bernardino Associated Governments (SANBAG) and Metrolink with the groundbreaking ceremony for the Eastern Maintenance Facility Expansion Project. Officials from both agencies, along with dignitaries from throughout the area, celebrated the commencement of this major milestone in transportation. Brad Bailey, who is currently a structural engineering graduate student at San Diego State University, has recently joined the SWE team as an intern for the Bridge Division. Raised in the San Joaquin Valley in Northern California, Brad relocated to San Diego for the weather, beaches, and educational opportunities. In his spare time he enjoys making his own music with his guitar, taking in the Southern California scenery as he runs, and weightlifting at the gym. Welcome to SWE, Brad!
